Featuring a touchscreen and 4 pages filled with the most crucial gauges, this gauge set is meant to fill the void left behind by BMW when it comes to knowing how is the engine doing. While a few select powertrains come with a clunky oil temperature gauge on the cluster, absolutely none come with anything else!
The kit installs in the central air vents, with a choice of a larger 3.5" touchscreen for more visibility or a smaller 2.4" touchscreen which retains airflow through the vent. This is better suited for more extreme climate regions. Installation does not require any tools, and there are step by instructions provided as an online PDF here.

The gauges supported are:
- coolant temperature
- oil pressure
- oil temperature
- turbo boost
- transmission temperature (excepting manual gearboxes)
- intake air temperature
- engine load
- ignition timing
- short and long term fuel trims
- pressures at the outputs of the low and high pressure fuel pumps
- engine oil level - both in absolute level and in liters/qt above minimum level
- instantaneous torque and power readings
- battery voltage
- ambient temperature

Optional features of the kit include:
- automatic selection of SPORT/SPORT+ modes at every engine startup (so that you don't have to keep pressing the sport button every time you start the car)
- multicolored gauges - where the color of the gauge indicates the meaning of it. For example, coolant temperature being shown in blue means the engine has not warmed up yet. Green would be OK, orange being "things are getting hot" and red for "no-go zone".
- automatic dimming of the screen based on the brightness of the dashboard(or a manual, fixed brightness). This makes night time driving an absolute pleasure!
These features are configurable at any time in the settings menu shown above.
Please note the following:
- for cars with manual gearboxes, the transmission temperature gauge might not be operational (year/model dependant)
- for RHD cars, the screen mounts on the vent closest to the driver
- oil level is shown as an instantaneous reading and thus the reading fluctuates slightly while driving
- engine torque is as reported by the engine ECU; power is computed from torque and RPM
- this is an OBD2 device which acts as a OBD2 scan tool. It plugs in the OBD2 port. It is not allowed to have 2 such devices connected simultaneously via splitters or similar. Users of piggyback tuning devices that also connect to the OBD2 port cannot use both devices simultaneously. Instead, if they connect to the more obscure PT-CAN bus then operation of both devices is allowed
