This page explains the procedure to follow in cases of:

  • items bought from this site that are returned(sent back) for warranty, exchange, return or any other reason that is agreed between the site and the buyer
  • items sent to be customized (such as instrument clusters, engine computers(ECU/PCM)

The address to which you shall send the parcel will be sent to you over email, for privacy reasons.

The following procedure applies, and MUST be followed to avoid useless expenses, damaged items during shipping and so on.

  1. Send an email to ciprianrotary@gmail.com stating the reason for the return, or the order in question, and as many details as you can.
  2. Package the goods in a STURDY cardboard box, that is large enough to protect the item and not squeeze it inside! The item must be wrapped in paper, bubble wrap, flakes, or any other item which fills the box in which the item(s) are. The item is not allowed to move around in the box.
  3. Send the parcel by the cheapest method, which is almost always by post. This means USPS, Royal Mail, Australian Post and so on. The national carrier you have and which is usually government run. Courier service is fine also, but the cost is a lot higher. All such costs are always in the charge of the buyer.
  4. On the customs declaration mark the items as “returned items” or “warranty” and with a value of $1. This is extremely important!
  5. If possible, also remove ANY note attached to the parcel that indicates the shipping cost involved. This is extremely important! The reason for these requirements is that any parcel that comes into Europe is subject to value added tax of 19% and customs fees(1-5-10%), which are based on the declared value of the item + shipping cost. If there is no such information, or the value declared is low, then the fees in turn are low. However, if these fees end up being high, the buyer will be asked to pay the cost(which will be justified with invoices from the customs office).
  6. Send the tracking code by email to ciprianrotary@gmail.com and await further news.
