RX8 S1 ECU remap

Why remap a RX8 ECU? There are a lot of reliability and longevity mods to be done inside the ECU, out of which:

-cooling fans shall be turned on sooner, keeping the engine run cooler
-increasing the oil injection rates to aid in lubricating the engine
–deleting check engine lights(DTCs) – if you remove some equipment from your car and that check engine light bothers you – as is the case with decat pipes, no rear O2 sensor, or no air pump
-cold start RPM limiter – not to rev up your engine while it is cold
-small torque gains from leaning out the AFR at high load/rpm
-accelerator pedal made more or less sensitive – to increase control
-increase the rev limiter

The procedure to remap your ECU is the following:
1)add this item in your cart and place an order
2)ship your ECU to the address you receive on email
3)fill out a short form where you select what exactly would like to be changed
4)the changes are applied and your ECU is sent back within 1-2 days
5)you get your ECU back within a week for Europe, 10 calendar days for USA and 2 weeks for the rest of the world.

The reflashing process is 100% safe, there is no chance of damage, as the ECU is connected to a workbench that simulates an entire car. There is no internal contact to the ECU, it is all done by the OBD2 port. The stock and edited file can be sent over to you, should you want it. Note that they are encrypted and can only be opened by MazdaEdit software.
